Our Rehabilitation Facility

Nueva Vida is located on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica on a beautiful two acre bluff overlooking the ocean. The property has spectacular ocean views and is covered with lush tropical foliage including coconut palms, mangos, avocadoes and tropical flowers. The climate is sunny and warm (70 to 90 degrees) all year round.

The estate is a 14 room residence. Each room has its own on suite bathroom and private balcony with ocean or mountain views. The estate has a large infinity pool with magnificent ocean views and a large thatched palm frond palapa that is ideal for relaxing in the warm shade and watching the ocean and tropical sunsets.

A stay at Nueva Vida is an experience of a lifetime. From the minute a client arrives at Nueva Vida he is engulfed it’s the happy, vibrant and colorful environment and a friendly and upbeat staff.

Nueva Vida is truly a unique adventure and life changing experience. We have totally changed the traditional “rehab” experience. Yes, rehab can be fun and yes it works.

OUR WEEKLY ADVENTURES

Taking full advantage of the many opportunities Nueva Vida has due to its exotic location in Costa Rica we provide all our clients with a weekly “adventure”.

This adventure is usually a one day off premises group excursion. In most cases our entire staff also participates in these adventures as they are meant to be fun and therapeutic.

Among the many adventures are horseback riding on the beach and in the mountains, river rafting and river tubeing, kayaking in rivers and on the ocean, canopy rides, hiking to a volcano, walks in the rainforest, deep sea fishing, four wheeling, snorkeling and barbecues on deserted beaches.

Each activity is meant to provide a new and challenging experience. As these are group activities and require interaction with others they promote a person’s self-esteem and social skills.
