Costa Rica Medical Tourism Services (CR MTS) is headquartered in San Jose, Costa Rica. Our company is managed by Harry Bandinel and Victoria Nikitina. Both have lived in Costa Rica for over twenty years.

Our services are specifically focused to provide foreigners access the best medical services, physicians and hospitals in Costa Rica. We are a full service, licensed and registered Medical Tourism Facilitator.

Our job is to find the best medical services in Costa Rica and place them at the disposal of foreigners in need of these services. Along with this contingent of medical services, we also provide all the necessary logistics our patients will need while in Costa Rica. This includes all transportation, lodging, per and post operation care along with travel plans a vacations.

Our services also include all kinds of dental care. We have three internationally accredited dental clinics in our network that specialize in working with foreign patients. These dental clinics use all the latest state of the art equipment and the most advanced technology available in the world.

TRANSPORTATION, HOSPITALITY AND VACATION SERVICES

CR MTS has set up a network of support staff and service providers that take care of all our patients needs while in Costa Rica. These include all transportation needs, all lodging, meals and post operative care.

CR MTS also has contracts with several local tour operators that provide a full array of local tours and vacation options in Costa Rica that can be combined with your medical procedure.

We have carefully selected the best available and negotiated contracts with these providers at greatly reduced rates due to the volume we manage. We pass these savings on to our patients. It’s part of the turnkey service CR MTS provides.

For example, we have one recovery resort that charges $85 per day for a king size suite, including three meals daily, a fulltime nurse and all transportation to and from the hospital and airport.

HARRY BANDINEL
GENERAL MANAGER
Harry is one of the founding partners of Costa Rica Medical Tourism Services. He has lived in Costa Rica since 1960 when his family moved there from Cannes in the south of France. His parents bought a coffee plantation on the foothills of the Poas Volcano. Most of Harry’s early childhood was spent on the plantation in Costa Rica. As a teenager he attended boarding school in Geneva, Switzerland.

Harry went to college in the United States, initially attending Cornell University in New York and eventually graduating from college in California with a degree in Business Management. During the 1980s and 1990s Harry lived in the USA working in real estate, finance and insurance.

In early 2001 Harry opened his own insurance agency and began working with companies like Aetna, Mutual of Omaha, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield and AIG, specializing in products for seniors and the elderly. Here he experienced firsthand the problems in healthcare and medical insurance in the USA.

He returned to Costa Rica 2007 to explore retirement options and medical treatment for US citizens in Costa Rica. In 2008 he founded Costa Rica Medical Tourism Services and began working on a supportive living / retirement community in Costa Rica.

Using his 20 years experience and extensive network of contacts in Costa Rica, Harry has assembled a network comprised of the best doctors, hospitals and tourist service providers in Costa Rica under Costa Rica MTS. His goal is to make Costa Rica MTS the premier medical tourism company in Costa Rica.

Harry is fluent in Spanish and German and has travelled to 72 countries all over the World.

VICTORIA NIKITINA
PATIENT SERVICES DIRECTOR
Victoria was born in Tashkent, the capital of the Uzbekistan, where she grew up and attended the Cultural University of Tashkent and earned a degree in Bibliography / Librarian. She moved to Costa Rica in 1992.

She has spent most of her career in sales and marketing. For five years she was the director of marketing at the “Torre Mercedes” which was Costa Rica first “smart building”. Prior to becoming the Patient Services Director at Costa Rica MTS she spent six years in real estate, working mainly with foreign investors and individuals retiring in Costa Rica from foreign countries.

Victoria has two children, speaks English, Spanish and Russian.
