COSTA RICA HEALTH CARE – HOW OUR SERVICE WORKS
Here is how it works:
- Contact our office in Florida and speak to one of our Patient Application Coordinators. (PAC)
- The PAC will take your contact and medical information and create a Case File.
- Your Case File is sent down to our office in Costa Rica via secure Internet so the office there can put together a complete proposal for you. This includes your medical / dental needs, your doctor and your hospital, your transportation and lodging and any vacation plans you may want.
- This proposal is sent back to the PAC in Florida who will contact you and discuss and explain your whole procedure, answer any question as well as give you a detailed cost estimate and time you will have to be in Costa Rica. You will also receive a full bio and information about the doctor and hospital that will take care of you.
- If you want, the PAC will arrange a conference between you and the doctor / surgeon.
- If you wish to proceed our PAC will send you a contract for the services you requested.
- You sign the contract send it back to the PAC at our Florida office with a $1,500 deposit.
- We then confirm all you appointments and reserve your space.
- Ten days prior to your arrival in Costa Rica, we require full payment. This is sent to our office in Florida.
- Upon your arrival in Costa Rica we pick you up at the airport in a private luxury SUV and take you to our patient resort.
- You will be assigned a personal concierge in Costa Rica who is there 24/7 to take care of your every need and who will coordinate all you care in Costa Rica.
- We provide all the transportation to and from medical / dental care facilities / clinics / hospitals.
- If you need post op care, therapy or assistance from a nurse we will provide this at our own recovery resort. We have our own specialized and highly trained nurses and therapists on site that are there to provide you with a complete recovery program.
- If you are participating in any tours or have planned a vacation your personal concierge will assist you with all your vacation plans.
- Once you are finished we take you back to the airport.
- If you need follow up care in the United States or Canada we will coordinate this with your doctor or one of our network doctors near your home town in the USA or Canada.
