FINANCE 100% OF YOUR MEDICAL OR DENTAL PROCEDURE

Costa Rica Medical Tourism Services has agreements with three finance companies in the United States that will finance up to 100% of the medical and travel costs of any patient using our network abroad. This is a simple installment loan and is applied for over the phone or online.

TO QUALIFY FOR FINANCING

A patient must first obtain a written estimate of the cost and type of care that will be provided in the foreign country. He can then summit an application for credit to finance the procedure.

Approval takes less than 72 hours. Most patients with FICO scores of over 600 are approved. For applicants with lower FICO scores the finance company may approve them with a co signer.

The term of the loan can be for 12 to 84 months. Patients will be charged loan origination fees and points on the loan which can range from 5 to 15 points depending on the patients credit rating. So the financing is not cheap but it is an unsecured loan.

FINANCING EXAMPLE

For many patients obtaining financing it can mean the difference between obtaining treatment and not obtaining treatment. For example a knee replacement that costs $50,000 cash in the United States will costs $9,000 in Costa Rica. Finance that amount for 84 months and your payment will be approximately $150 per month with no money down. To go from $50,000 in cash to $150 per month is a huge difference and makes it affordable for just about anyone.
