Costa Rica MTS is fully aware of the importance price has when dealing with medical tourism and that most people traveling abroad for medical care do so to save money. However we are also keenly aware that there is nothing more important than a person’s health and well being.

Keeping these two important facts in mind Costa Rica MTS has selected the best doctors and hospitals in Costa Rica and negotiated “reasonable” rates for our clients.

For a price quote on any of our procedures we ask you to register with us. We will contact you via telephone or e mail and schedule a free, one on one, telephone consultation with one of our physicians.

During this free consultation our doctor will access your case, explain in detail your options, the length of your procedure and also give you a price.

Below we have listed some price comparison charts for the most common procedures. These are not our prices, but what are considered usual and customary price in various countries. Please use these charts as a guideline for price comparisons only and contact us for a specific price.

Typically, in Costa Rica you can expect to pay 1/4 to 1/3 of what a similar procedure would cost in the USA. Add to that the cost of a ten day stay (average length for most procedures) that includes airfare, transportation, lodging, food and post operative care will add an average $1,500 to your medical costs.
