GETTING TO COSTA RICA One of the many advantages Costa Rica has over other medical tourism destinations is its proximity to the USA and Canada. In the early 1990s Costa Rica began to experience a major tourist boom that has continued until today. This has resulted in making Costa Rica a very accessible country. There are over 20 daily flights from all over the USA to Costa Rica. Direct flights are available from Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, New York, Denver, Dallas, Houston, and Los Angeles. Many US airlines including Delta, Continental, American, Spirit and Frontier provide these daily flights. Cost range from $200 to $400 round trip. TRANSPORTATION IN COSTA RICA Costa Rica MTS provides all transportation and lodging for their patients in Costa Rica. Starting with airport pickup and transfer to your hotel we provide all transportation to your doctor, hospital and hotel. This is done in private, air conditioned mini vans. LODGING IN COSTA RICA Costa Rica MTS has agreements with a wide range of hostels, hotels and recovery centers in Costa Rica that provide lodging for our patients. We also have a wide price range, starting at $35 per night at a simple county inn to $175 night at the five star luxurious Intercontinental Hotel. POST OPERATIVE CARE FACILITIES
We also have contracts with several of the best post operative care facilities in Costa Rica that provide lodging and pre and post operative care to our patients.
